Fresno Fatal Pedestrian crash in on Shaw Avenue near Cedar Avenue
Fresno, California (January 20, 2020) – 56-year-old Laura Bryant has been identified as the woman struck and killed by a vehicle on Saturday night in Fresno, police said.
Authorities responded to a pedestrian crash on Shaw Avenue and Cedar Avenue.
Bryant was reportedly crossing the street on an unmarked crosswalk when she was struck by two different vehicles on the roadway.
Bryant was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The driver of one of the vehicles remained at the scene and cooperated with the police. The other driver fled the scene and is being sought by the police.
No other details of the crash were immediately released.
The investigation into the crash is underway.
