Major Injuries in San Marcos Accident on West Borden Road near Via Barquer

San Marcos, California (January 28, 2020) – A landscaper was seriously injured and hospitalized after a car collided with a truck on Monday morning in San Marcos, as per a police report.

The collision took place at around 7:15 a.m. January 27, on West Borden Road near Via Barquer.

 Authorities said a 2013 Chevrolet Cruz, driven by a 16-year-old driver, struck a trailer. 

A landscaper was offloading equipment from the trailer at the time. The Landscaper suffered major injuries and was rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Alcohol ad drugs are not suspected to be the cause of the crash

No other details of the crash were immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
