CHP Investigating Major Injury Kirkwood Big Rig Accident near SR88 and Red Lake Road 

Kirkwood, California (February 5, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a traffic collision involving a Honda CRV and a big rig that happened in Kirkwood at around 2:20 p.m. on Tuesday.

The two-vehicle collision took place in the afternoon hours on February 4, in the area of SR88 and Red Lake Road.

The manner in which the accident occurred was not immediately disclosed at the time of the report.

The wreck resulted in major injuries to an unspecified number of victims.

The highway was closed down as police conducted the investigation.
