Kieth Silva Injured in Highway 162 Crash near County Road FF in Willows
Willows, California (March 7, 2020) – A two-car accident in Willows left one person with injuries Wednesday afternoon, March 4, authorities said.
Kieth Silva, 42, of Sparks, Nevada, was driving a Ford pickup westbound on Highway 162, just west of County Road FF while a Chevy Sedan, driven by Sharon Pelagio, 53, of Chico, was heading eastbound on Highway 162.
The Chevy allegedly made an unsafe turn and drifted into the westbound lane, where it collided with the Ford pickup. As a result of the collision, the Ford pickup, believed to be a state vehicle for the CDC, overturned and came to rest in the road while the Chevy crashed into a utility on the north side of the road.
Silva and Pelagio were taken to local hospitals with unspecified injuries.
Authorities found Pelagio to be under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs at the time of the accident and arrested her.
An investigation into the crash is underway.

Mr. Khodaverdian encourages victims and their family members to seek legal help as soon as possible in order to preserve their rights to the full extent of the law.
Mr. Khodaverdian has worked for many years as a wrongful death and personal injury attorney. Swift action by an experienced attorney helps preserve evidence, interview witnesses, and begin to pursue those responsible for the incident.
