Kaya Durazo and Ayana Guardado Killed in Car Crash on Interstate 205 in Tracy

Tracy, California – Four people were killed in a Tracy accident that occurred on Interstate 205 on Friday night. Two of the four people have been identified by the Patterson Unified School District as Kaya Durazo and Ayana Guardado.

On September 18, at around 7 pm, an officer attempted to pull over a vehicle on southbound Interstate 5 in Lathrop, according to the CHP.

The driver failed to stop however the officer began to pursue the suspect. After a short time, the officer lost sight of the vehicle and stopped the chase.

A little later the vehicle was traveling on Interstate 205 when it made the exit at Tracy Boulevard at high speed. It went off the roadway slamming into the tree.

Four people, the occupants of the vehicle who were high school seniors died in the accident. Among these were Kaya Durazo and Ayana Guardado.

The third victim was identified as Treyvon Breckenridge who was also killed in the accident.

However, the name of the fourth party has not been revealed.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
