Julian Moors Killed in Pomona Motorcycle Crash in Pomona (60) Freeway near Garey Avenue

Pomona, California (May 2, 2020) – Julian Moors, 44, of Riverside, has been identified as the man who was killed in a motorcycle accident on Friday night in Pomona, police said.

At around 5:40 a.m., on May 1, the police responded to the deadly crash on eastbound Pomona Freeway, just west of Garey Avenue.

A 29-year-old Compton man was driving a 2008 Mercedes Benz CL550 when it lost a wheel while traveling on the roadway. A 2017 BMW motorcycle, operated by Julian Moors, 44, of Riverside, was hit by the wheel, according to the officials.

According to the authorities, Moors was ejected onto the roadway where a 2019 Kia Sportage struck him. A 37-year-old Lynwood woman was operating the Kia at the time.

Moors was declared dead at the scene.

No further details about the crash were available.

An investigation into the accident is underway.

“Far too many motorcycle collisions are caused by the carelessness or recklessness of other motorists. Sadly, when this occurs, motorcyclists are the ones who tend to suffer the vast majority of injuries”, according to Arin Khodaverdian, Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group. Under California’s rule of comparative negligence, a victim may be able to collect compensation for injuries and other damages even if you were partly at fault for the accident.

Mr. Khodaverdian has worked for many years as a wrongful death and personal injury attorney. He and his team of attorneys has helped thousands of injury victims and their families recover over $100 million in compensation. “In one case, we recovered a 7-figure settlement within 11 business days of being hired by the family of a victim who was killed by a negligent driver.”

Swift action by an experienced attorney helps preserve evidence, interview witnesses, and begin to pursue those responsible for the incident.

Mr. Khodaverdian is personally available for free consultations 24/7 by calling 866-773-0222
