Jang Lim Suffers Major Injuries Following Westlake Pedestrian Accident at James M. Wood Boulevard and Burlington Avenue
Jang Lim ID’d as Victim Injured in Los Angeles Hit-and-Run Accident at James M. Wood Boulevard and Burlington Avenue
Los Angeles, California (March 13, 2020) – Authorities have identified the pedestrian who sustained major injuries after being hit by a vehicle Saturday morning in the Westlake district of Los Angeles as Jang Lim, 92.
The accident occurred at about 8:30 a.m. Saturday, February 7 at the intersection of James M. Wood Boulevard and Burlington Avenue near Olympic Boulevard.
Authorities said Lim was at the intersection when a black 2004 Honda Accord struck him.
Lim was transported to a nearby hospital with a serious head injury.
The driver of the Honda, Juan Jesus Ajanel-Perez, 21, of Los Angeles, fled the scene after the accident. He was arrested after confessing to the crime on Thursday, March 12.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
