Minor Injuries in Sacramento Big Rig Crash on Interstate 80
Sacramento, California (January 15, 2020) – One person sustained minor injuries after vehicles collided on Wednesday morning in Sacramento, police said.
The collision was reported at around 8:00 a.m. January 15, on eastbound interstate 80 between Northgate Boulevard and Norwood Avenue.
The California Highway Patrol said three cars, including two big rigs, were involved in the crash. The car was pinned between two big rigs and a traffic wall.
The driver of the car sustained minor injuries in the crash.
The No.4 and No.5 lanes were closed while authorities worked to clear the area.
No other details of the crash were immediately released.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
