Gorman, California (March 13, 2020) – Injuries were reported after two big rigs collided on 5 Freeway Near 138 Freeway in Gorman Wednesday morning, a local news source reported.
As per the report, unspecified numbers of victims were hurt after the two big rigs crashed on the northbound lanes of the Freeway shortly before 3:00 a.m. March 11.
The initial report indicated that the first truck lost its payload of hay bales onto the interstate before being struck by the second vehicle.
Due to the impact of the collision, organic acid, and hay spilled across the interstate.
The wreck resulted in non-life threatening injuries.
The highway was closed down, and traffic was diverted to Parker Road in Castaic up about 10:30 a.m.
