Francisca Solis ID’d as Person Killed in Yorba Linda Car Crash on 91 Freeway

Yorba Linda, California (February 24, 2020) – Two people were killed in a two-vehicle crash on Sunday morning in Yorba Linda, according to the Orange County coroner’s office.

The authorities responded to a crash at about 3:25 a.m. February 23, on 91 Freeway, east of the 91/241 Toll Road interchange.

The two vehicles collided, for unknown reasons, on the roadway. One of the cars may have been stopped on the freeway before the collision. As a result of the crash, one of the cars was left smoking.

Francisca Solis, 91, a resident of Anaheim, and a 70-year-old from Selma, were flown to UCI Medical Center, where they were declared dead minutes apart.

Details on how the crash occurred or whether the two victims were related to each other were not available.

Following the accident, the roadway was closed for an unspecified time by the police. It was reopened early Sunday morning.

The crash remains under investigation.

According to Arin Khodaverdian, the Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group, a separate investigation by an experienced attorney is necessary so as clearly uncover the circumstances surrounding the collision. “An attorney will also help the victim to navigate all the legal processes in pursuit of fair compensation and justice. Car accident claims are rarely straightforward, and, regardless of the circumstances involved, liable insurance companies will often do everything possible to limit their out-of-pocket expenses by either devaluing or outright denying your claim. It is crucial, therefore, that you have an experienced attorney on your side,” said Arin.

Mr. Khodaverdian has worked for many years as a wrongful death and personal injury attorney. He and his team of attorneys have helped thousands of injury victims and their families recover over $100 million in compensation. “In one case, we recovered a 7-figure settlement within 11 business days of being hired by the family of a victim who was killed by a negligent driver.”

Swift action by an experienced attorney helps preserve evidence, interview witnesses, and begin to pursue those responsible for the incident.
