1 Killed After Big Rig and Passenger Vehicle Crashed in on Highway 299 in Bella Vista
Shasta County, California (January 3, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a truck collision that resulted in the death of one person in the Bella Vista Community on Friday afternoon.
The collision involving two vehicles happened in the afternoon hours on Friday, along Highway 299.
The accident involved a big rig truck and a passenger vehicle. The CHP did not disclose the precious circumstances that lead to the collision.
Officials declared one victim dead at the scene.
A second person suffered minor hurts in the crash.
Both lanes of the highway were closed down near Oak Run Road for an unknown time.
The accident remains under an active investigation.
