1 Killed After Three Vehicles Crashed on Santa Fe Road near Reile Road in Escalon

Escalon, California (December 8, 2019) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a traffic collision that resulted in the death of one person in Escalon on Friday evening

The multi-vehicle accident, which happened at about 5:25 p.m. December 6, occurred on Santa Fe Road near Reile Road.

The three vehicles collided on the highway for reasons still under an active investigation. Due to the impact, one person was trapped in the wreckage. 

The pinned victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

It was not mentioned whether or not there were other people injured in the crash.

Officials said both eastbound and westbound lanes of Santa Fe Road were closed down as police conducted the investigation.

Meanwhile, the investigation is underway.
