18-Year-Old Girl Killed, Eduardo Jones Arrested after Car Crash on Paradise Valley Road in Paradise Hills

Paradise Hills, California – Following a deadly Paradise Hills accident that happened on Paradise Valley Road, an 18-year-old girl was killed, and an 18-year-old Eduardo Douglas Jones was arrested.

Jones was driving a 1992 Mercedes westbound on Paradise Valley Road with four passengers when he lost control of his car while trying to make a left turn onto the southbound lanes of Munda Road, crashed down an embankment.

On September 23, at around 2 am, the accident occurred according to the police report.

Five of the occupants got out of the car and made their way back on the street. However, one passenger, an 18-year-old girl was taken to the hospital as she sustained critical injuries where she was later declared dead.

Jones fled the scene however he was located hiding in the bushes a few blocks away and was arrested. He was booked on charges of felony hit-and-run, DUI, and vehicular manslaughter.

The name of the deceased was not revealed pending family notification.

The cause of the accident is under investigation by the police.
