Edger Moso and Michelle Galindo Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101 in Mendocino County

Edger Moso and Michelle Galindo Hospitalized after Mendocino County Accident on Highway 101 near Old River Road

Mendocino County, California (February 21, 2020) – 26-year-old Edger Moso and Michelle Galindo, 22, of Acurata have been identified as two of the four drivers injured in a multiple-vehicle crash on Highway 101 north of Old River. 

The California Highway Patrol said responded to the crash on Thursday, February 20, at around 8:00 a.m.

According to the report, a  2005 Ford F-150 pickup was heading northbound on the highway when for unknown reasons, the driver veered to the left and crossed over the solid double yellow line and partially entered the highway’s southbound traffic line.

The Ford F-150 then collided head-on with a 2019 Volkswagen Jetta driven by Moso. Moso’s vehicle went out of control and entered the northbound, where it collided head-on again with a 2016 Freightliner tow truck. 

The Volkswagen was struck a third time by a 2020 Ford Fusion that was driving southbound by Galindo.

Moso  sustained major injuries while Galindo suffered moderate injuries, they were both  taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Other two drivers were also injured and treated at the scene,

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
