Duncan Stout ID’d as Motorcyclist Killed in San Jose Crash on Almaden Expressway and Cloverhill Drive
San Jose, California (January 25, 2020) – The motorcyclist who died after a traffic accident that happened last week Saturday in San Jose has been identified as Duncan Stout, 25, of Los Gatos.
The deadly motorcycle accident took place at around 11:50 a.m. Saturday, January 18 at the intersection of Almaden Expressway and Cloverhill Drive.
Authorities said a 2014 Mercedes-Benz was making a right turn onto the expressway from westbound Cloverhill Drive when for an unknown reason, the Mercedes collided with a 2019 Kawasaki motorcycle that was traveling northbound on Almaden Expressway, driven by Stout.
Stout was taken to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on Friday, January 24.
The driver of the Mercedes, a San Jose man, stopped at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. Alcohol or drugs were not considered a factor in the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
