Driver Injured in Compton Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 710 Freeway near Alondra Boulevard
Compton 3-Vehicle Accident on Interstate 710 Freeway Injured 1 Victim
Compton, California (April 7, 2020) – One person was hurt following a three-vehicle collision that happened on the Interstate 710 Freeway, just south of Alondra Boulevard in Compton Tuesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a tan Ford Explorer SUV collided with a maroon Ford F-150 pickup truck and a delivery truck at around 7:00 a.m.
Due to the impact, the SUV blocked the No. 3 lane of the highway and a black Chevrolet Silverado stopped behind it.
The Long Beach Fire Department responded to the crash site and attended to all involved parties, including the Ford Explorer motorist, who sustained unspecified injuries.
Officials requested a tow truck to remove the Ford SUV away from the scene of the accident.
The investigators are gathering more evidence to identify the cause of the accident.
