Deion Nobles Killed in Bakersfield Motorcycle Accident on Chester Avenue

Authorities Identify Motorcyclist Hit and Killed by Drunk Driver on Chester Avenue in Bakersfield as Deion Nobles

Bakersfield, California (February 15, 2020) – Authorities have identified the motorcyclist who was struck and killed by a suspected drunk driver Friday night in Central Bakersfield.

Deion Nobles, a former Bakersfield High School football player, died in the crash that occurred at about 6:00 p.m. Friday, February 14 on Chester Avenue.

According to the authorities, Nobles was hit by a pickup truck while he was riding his motorcycle on Chester Avenue.

Nobles died at the scene.

Dawson remained at the scene after the crash. He was arrested and booked into the Kern County Jail for DUI and for gross vehicular manslaughter.
