According to a local news source, a white 2005 Chevrolet Malibu driven by 30-year-old Shayna Alexander struck a black 2013 Jeep operated by Salazar at the intersection at about 10:56 p.m. April 7.
The initial report showed that Alexander was traveling south on Amargosa road when she allegedly ran the red light at Roy Rogers Drive before hitting the Jeep.
Due to the impact, both vehicles partially overturned and knocked a metal traffic-signal light pole down in the process.

It was not mentioned whether or not he was taken to the hospital for further aid.
