Daniel Taylor Killed in Alhambra Motorcycle Accident on 10 Freeway

Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on 10 Freeway near Fremont Avenue in Alhambra Identified as Daniel Taylor

Alhambra, California (April 10, 2020) – The motorcyclist who was killed Wednesday night in a collision with a truck in Alhambra has been identified by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office.

Daniel Taylor, 47, of Rosemead, died following the accident that happened about 11:44 p.m. Wednesday, April 8 on the westbound 10 Freeway, just east of Fremont Avenue.

Taylor was riding a Honda CBR motorcycle westbound on the freeway when he drifted right into another lane, where he hit a dump truck. After the impact, Taylor lost control of the motorcycle and struck the dump truck again.

Taylor was ejected from the bike upon the impact. He was pronounced deceased at the scene at about 12:03 a.m.

No further details about the crash were immediately given.

The crash remains under investigation.
