Woman in Critical Condition after Spring Valley Car Accident at Paraiso Avenue and Jamacha Boulevard
Spring Valley, California (May 14, 2020) – A traffic collision involving a hit-and-run suspect left a woman critically injured Wednesday morning in Spring Valley, according to authorities.
The crash took place shortly after 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, at the intersection of Paraiso Avenue and Jamacha Boulevard, the California Highway Patrol said.
A Toyota Camry and a 2009 Honda Accord collided for unknown reasons near the intersection of Paraiso Avenue and San Francisco Street. The driver of the Honda did stop at the scene and continued heading southbound on Paraiso Avenue.
The Honda failed to stop at a stop sign and struck the driver’s side of a 2010 Volkswagen CC that was heading eastbound on Jamacha Boulevard. The force of the impact caused both sedans to slam into two parked vehicles.
The woman driving the Volkswagen was transported to Scripps Mercy Hospital, where she was listed in critical condition.
The driver of the Honda, Eric Fernandez Bravo, 19, of Spring Valley, was also transported to Scripps Mercy Hospital for treatment of minor injuries before being booked into the county jail on suspicion of hit-and-run and reckless driving causing injury.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group, Mr. Arin Khodaverdian believes that car accident claims are rarely straightforward regardless of the circumstances involved. “Liable insurance companies will often do everything possible to limit their out-of-pocket expenses by either devaluing or outright denying your claim and it is crucial, therefore, to have an experienced attorney on your side,” He said.
Mr. Khodaverdian has worked for many years as a wrongful death and personal injury attorney. He and his team of attorneys has helped thousands of injury victims and their families recover over $100 million in compensation. “In one case, we recovered a 7-figure settlement within 11 business days of being hired by the family of a victim who was killed by a negligent driver.”
Swift action by an experienced attorney helps preserve evidence, interview witnesses, and begin to pursue those responsible for the incident.
