Coroner Identify Pedestrian Hit, Killed by Vehicle on 210 Freeway in Upland

Christopher Robinson Killed in Upland Pedestrian Accident on 210 Freeway near Mountain Avenue

Upland, California (January 26, 2020) – The pedestrian who died after being struck by a vehicle earlier this month in Upland has been identified as Christopher Robinson, 48, of Arcadia, according to the San Bernardino County Coroner’s office.

The fatal crash happened at about 8:03 p.m. Thursday, January 9 on 210 Freeway, just north of Mountain Avenue.

Police said Robinson was walking across the eastbound lanes of the freeway when for an unknown reason, he was hit by a semi-truck.

Robinson died at the scene at about 8:48 p.m.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
