At Least 1 Killed After Car and Truck Crashes on Highway 91 near Wilmington Avenue in Compton
Compton, California (March 23, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a fatal pedestrian accident that happened on Highway 91 near Wilmington Avenue in Compton Sunday night.
As per the CHP report, at least one unidentified person died after a car and a truck collided on the highway at around 8:55 p.m.
The circumstances that lead to the collision of the two vehicles were not immediately disclosed at the time of the report.
Due to the impact of the collision, the vehicle was trapped under the truck.
Several lanes were shut down as investigation and clean up took place.
More details regarding the accident will be released immediately after the CHP completes the investigation.
