Chalacan Flores ID’d as Man Killed in Riverside Pedestrian Accident on 60 Freeway near Market Street
Riverside, California (April 6, 2020) – A pedestrian was killed in an auto-pedestrian crash on Sunday night in Riverside, according to police.
The accident happened on the westbound side of Pomona (60) Freeway near Market Street shortly before 10:00 p.m., on April 5.
Chalacan Flores, 25, of Redlands, was hit by a vehicle on the roadway in unclear circumstances, according to the officials.
Flores succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The police said a truck and sedan stopped on the right-hand shoulder of the freeway. The two cars’ role in the crash was not known at the time.
More details about the crash were not immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
