Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Pacifica Crash on Highway 1 (Cabrillo Highway) near Manor Drive Off-Ramp

Pacifica, California (March 28, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a major injury collision involving a person riding a motorcycle and a vehicle that occurred in Pacifica Friday afternoon.

According to the authorities, a red motorcycle and a vehicle collided on Highway 1 near Manor Drive exit at around 2:38 p.m. March 27. Due to the impact, the bike sustained major damage.

The motorcyclist was treated at the scene by responding paramedics before transporting them to a nearby hospital with major injuries. The name and condition of the rider at this time remained undisclosed.

Authorities closed the numbers 1 and 2 lanes of southbound Highway 1 during the investigation. The roadway was reopened at around 4:00 p.m.

Highway 1 is also known as Cabrillo Highway.

The accident remains under investigation.
