4-Door Sedan and Small Delivery Truck Involved in Fatal Cajon Pass Head-On Crash on Highway 138

Cajon Pass, California (June 13, 2020) – Two people were killed following a head-on collision on Highway 138, near Fern Cove Drive in Cajon Pass at approximately 7:00 a.m. Saturday.

The two victims died at the scene after a small white delivery truck and a green 4-door sedan collided head-on along the highway west of the Interstate 15 freeway Saturday morning.

Due to the impact of the collision, the truck overturned on its side and fully caught fire.

The fire was extinguished by first responders who arrived at the scene shortly after 7:00 a.m.

One of the deceased was riding in the truck while the other was an occupant in the sedan.

The wreck resulted in the highway closure as police and emergency crews worked to investigate and clear the scene.
