Ridgecrest, California (December 31, 2019) – 33-year-old Brandy Nyssa Clair has been arrested after an alleged hit-and-run collision on Saturday morning in the area of Ridgecrest, according to authorities.

The crash happened at an unspecified time Saturday, December 28, on West Wilson Avenue.

As per the CHP Officials, Clair was driving a red Chrysler minivan west when it swerved towards the edge of Wilson and struck the bicyclist for unknown reasons.

Responding emergency crews rendered aid to the rider who suffered minor injuries following the crash. The name and the current condition of the injured party were not immediately released.

Officials said Clair did not stop to render aid but fled the scene after the crash.

According to authorities, the suspect pulled into a driveway on West Haloid Avenue and was arrested.

Police determined that Clair was under the influence of alcohol at the crash time.

Officials finally arrested Clair and booked her on suspicion of DUI and hit-and-run causing injury.

No additional information regarding this crash was provided.
