Brandon Sancett ID’d as Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash at Mango Avenue and Baseline Avenue in Fontana
Fontana, California (January 12, 2020) –The San Bernardino County Coroner’s office has identified the man who was killed Saturday evening in a traffic accident involving two motorcycles in Fontana as Brandon Garret Sancett, 41, of Angeles Oaks.
The deadly crash took place at around 5:30 p.m. Saturday, January 11 at the intersection of Mango Avenue and Baseline Avenue.
Police said Sancett was riding his motorcycle on Mango Avenue when for an unknown reason, he collided with another motorcycle driven by a 30-year-old Fontana man.
Sancett was transported to Kaiser Foundation Hospital, where he was declared dead at around 6:30 p.m.
The other motorcyclist was not injured in the crash.
Mango Avenue was shut down during the investigation. As of 9:00 p.m., the roadway was reopened.
The accident remains under investigation.
