CHP Investigating Atwater Bicycle Crash on Longview Avenue that Left Rider with Serious Injuries

Atwater, California (February 20, 2020) – A bicyclist was hospitalized with serious injuries after colliding with a van Thursday evening in Atwater, authorities said.

The unidentified rider was struck by a gray minivan just after 7 p.m. on 10394 Longview Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Emergency crews responded to the scene to find the victim with serious injuries.

Details about the cause of the crash and the driver involved were not given.

CHP is collecting more information to determine the cause of the crash.
