Gardena Bicycle Accident at E. Compton Boulevard and S. Main Street Sent One to Hospital

Gardena, California (December 7, 2019) – One person was transported to the hospital after being involved in a bicycle accident that took place in the area of Gardena on Thursday afternoon.

According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the major injury crash happened at E. Compton Boulevard and S. Main Street at about 4:17 p.m. December 5.

A blue Infiniti SUV struck unidentified person who was riding a bicycle at the intersection for reasons still under an active investigation.

The victim was rushed to a local hospital by an ambulance for treatment of serious injuries sustained in the crash.

The name of the patient has not yet been released to this time.

The detectives handling the case are gathering more evidence to determine the cause of the accident.
