Bicyclist Hospitalized After Being Struck by Vehicle on Highway 35 in Redwood City
Bicyclist Injured in Redwood City Crash on Highway 35(Skyline Boulevard) near Misty Ridge Road
Redwood City, California (March 25, 2020) – A bicyclist was injured in a collision with a vehicle Saturday evening on a highway in Redwood City, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The bicycle accident, which was reported just before 6:31 p.m. March 21, happened on Highway 35 near Misty Ridge Road and Cypress Ridge Road. Highway 35 also known as Skyline Boulevard.
For unknown reasons, the bicyclist and a vehicle collided on the highway, the CHP report states.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and provided medical aid to the bicycle rider who sustained unspecified injuries following the crash. The patient was then taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Further details were about the crash were not immediately given, and the accident remains under investigation.
