Fatal Chico Bicycle Accident on Highway 32

Chico, California (May 9, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a bicycle crash that occurred Friday at about 8:45 p.m. on Highway 32 in Chico, leaving the bicyclist dead.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the deceased was riding a bicycle on the highway near Ten Mile House Trail when they collided with a Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck.

The cause of the accident was not mentioned in the report.

Emergency crews found the rider down in the traffic lanes.
