Coroner ID’d Steven Meunier as Man Killed in Fresno Bicycle Crash on Auberry Road
Fresno, California (May 27, 2020) – 72-year-old Steven Meunier, of Clovis, has been identified as the elderly man who died following a bicycle accident that happened near Millerton Road in the area of Fresno on Sunday, the Fresno County Coroner’s Office reported.
As per the California Highway Patrol report, Meunier was struck by a motorcycle while riding his bicycle southbound on the right shoulder of Auberry Road near Millerton Road just before noon.
The initial report indicated that Meunier was making a U-turn at the time of the collision.
Sadly, Meunier died in the accident.
The motorcyclist, who suffered injuries to his arm, was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center for medication.
The wreck resulted in the closure of Auberry road as police and emergency crews worked to investigate and clear the scene.
