At Least 1 Hospitalized After Barstow Car Crash on 15 Freeway near Lenwood Road 

Barstow, California (January 11, 2020) – A traffic collision that happened in the area of Barstow early Saturday morning sent at least one person to the hospital.

The two-vehicle collision took place on northbound 15 Freeway just south of Lenwood Road off-ramp at about 12:52 a.m.

According to a California Highway Patrol report, a tractor-trailer collided with a sedan for unknown reasons.

Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after the accident and extricated the pinned victims from the sedan.

Authorities said at least one victim suffered serious injuries following the wreck.

The patient was taken to a local hospital for medication.

More details regarding the accident will be released immediately after the CHP completes the investigation.
