Ruperto Baiza Killed in Menifee Pedestrian Accident on State Route 74 near McKinley Road

Menifee, California (January 9, 2020) – The Riverside County Coroner’s Bureau has identified the pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle Tuesday night in Menifee.

Ruperto Baiza, 27, of Romoland, died in the accident that occurred at around 8:08 p.m. Tuesday, January 7 on State Route 74, just west of McKinley Road.

Authorities said Baiza was hit by a vehicle on State Route 74.

Baiza was pronounced dead at the scene at around 8:17 p.m.

Further details regarding the accident were not immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
