At least 1 Hurt After 2-Vehicles Crashed at Keyes Road and Geer Road in Hughson
Stanislaus County, California (January 13, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a head-on collision that resulted in injuries to at least one victim in the area of Hughson on Friday morning.
The two-vehicle crash took place at about 5:03 a.m. at the intersection of East Keyes and Geer roads, just north of Turlock in Stanislaus County.
As per the CHP report, the accident began when a white vehicle was passing a slower-moving tanker truck at the intersection of East Keyes and Geer roads. The vehicle then collided head-on into an oncoming dark blue vehicle.
Due to the impact of the collision, both vehicles acquired heavy damages.
Meanwhile, all the occupants were removed out of their vehicles by the Stanislaus County Fire Department Officials, along with police who arrived at the site shortly after the accident.
The extent of injuries sustained in the wreck was not disclosed at the time of the report.
Police requested tow trucks to remove both vehicles away from the crash scene.
The investigation is underway.
