Fresno Truck Accident on Highway 99 near Belmont Avenue Injured At Least 1

Fresno, California (March 19, 2020) – At least one person was hurt following a multi-vehicle collision that happened in the area of Fresno Thursday morning.

As per the California Highway Patrol report, a big gold rig, a pickup truck, and a white semi-tractor trailer truck collided on Highway 99 at about 10:30 a.m.

One of the box truck operators sustained a head injury in the crash. The patient was attended to by paramedics who responded at the scene shortly after the wreck.

It was not clear whether or not the injured party was taken to the hospital for further treatment.

Officials requested a tow truck to remove at least one of the trucks away from the crash site.

The CHP is still investigating to identify the cause of the accident.
