Ashley Bautista Sustained Major Injuries in Chino Hills Pedestrian Accident at Eucalyptus Avenue and Galloping Hills

Victim Seriously Injured in Pedestrian Crash at Eucalyptus Avenue and Galloping Hills ID’d as Ashley Bautista

Chino Hills, California (February 4, 2020) – The victim who was seriously hurt in a pedestrian collision in the area of Chino Hills on Monday evening has been identified as 33-year-old Ashley Nicole Bautista of Chino Hills, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The major injury crash happened on Eucalyptus Avenue near Galloping Hills Road at about 6:30 p.m. February 3.

Officials said Bautista was walking in the westbound lanes when a 2002 Infiniti struck her for undisclosed reasons.

The Infiniti motorist, who was later identified as 24-year-old Karolyn Rose Jaranilla, stopped after the crash and cooperated with the law.

Bautista was rushed to an area hospital with serious injuries sustained in the wreck.

More details about the accident will be released immediately after the completion of the investigation.
