Angel Ibarra Killed in Long Beach Accident on Del Amo Boulevard

Angel Ibarra Dies Days after Long Beach Pedestrian Accident on Del Amo Boulevard and Gardenia Avenue

Long Beach, California (January 3, 2020) – Angel D. Ibarra Jr, 32, of Long Beach sadly succumbed to injuries sustained in an auto-pedestrian accident last month in Long Beach, according to Long Beach police.

The fatal collision took place at around 8:15 a.m. December 12, at Del Amo Boulevard and Gardenia Avenue.

A 2010 Chrysler Sebring was traveling west on Del Amo Boulevard when it hit Ibarra, who ran out into traffic from the sidewalk.

Ibarra Jr sustained major injuries and was taken to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries 11 days later.

Police are conducting an investigation into the incident.
