At Least 1 Hurt in La Mesa Car Accident on 8 Freeway and Lake Murray Boulevard

La Mesa, California (December 10, 2019) – A minor injury crash was reported on Monday evening in the area of La Mesa, according to authorities.

The crash occurred at about 5:20 p.m. Monday, December 9, on 8 Freeway and Lake Murray Boulevard off-ramp.

According to authorities, four cars collided for reasons yet to be determined.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to render aid to at least one person who complained of pain as a result of the collision. The wounded party and their current condition were not immediately provided.

The vehicles were towed away from the scene.

The cars were closing lane 1 as a result of the accident. The roadway was cleared as of 6:20 p.m.
