3 Killed, 1 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 138 in Pinon Hills
3 Die, 1 Hurt in Pinon Hills Car Accident on Highway 138 near Oasis Road
Pinon Hills, California (June 19, 2020) – Three people were killed and one other injured in a multi-vehicle accident on Thursday evening in Pinon Hills, according to police.
The deadly crash transpired at about 7:37 p.m., on June 18, on Highway 138 near Oasis Road.
The California Highway Patrol said a burgundy Honda Accord, a silver Infiniti G35, and an unidentified vehicle collided on the highway. The factors that contributed to the accident are yet to be established.
Following the accident, a silver sedan overturned and landed back on its wheels. The wheels on that vehicle were smoking and one person was trapped inside.
Three people sustained fatal injuries in the crash.
One person was airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center in critical condition.
Highway 138 was closed for a short period due to the mishap.
The crash remains under investigation.
