3 Hospitalized after Bakersfield Car Accident on Old River Road Off-Ramp near 5 Freeway

Bakersfield, California (December 30, 2019) – Three people were injured Saturday morning in a three-vehicle crash in Bakersfield, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.

The multi-car accident happened at around 6:39 p.m. Saturday, December 28 on the Old River Road exit near the Interstate 5 Freeway.

Three vehicles collided on the northbound side of the road for reasons still under investigation, the CHP report states.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and provided medical aid to a total of three people who were hurt in the crash. All three patients were then taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

The names of the injured parties and their conditions were not immediately available.

The accident remains under investigation.
