3 Hurt in Multi-Car Accident on Yolo Causeway in Yolo County

3 Injured in Yolo County Car Accident on Yolo Causeway

Yolo County, California (March 26, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Thursday afternoon car accident that left three people hospitalized in Yolo County.

The accident happened on the Yolo Causeway east of Davis, at about 2:40 p.m.

Several vehicles collided on the causeway for reasons that were yet to be established. One of the cars, a black sport-utility vehicle, overturned while another compact vehicle was in flames due to the crash, according to the police.

Following the mishap, three people were transported to a hospital for treatment. Their conditions were not immediately disclosed.

The crash caused the closure of the causeway for an unknown period.

More information about the accident was not available.

The accident remains under investigation.
