Three People Injured in Santa Barbara Accident on Highway 154

Santa Barbara, California – After the Santa Barbara accident that occurred on Highway 154, near Foothill and Cathedral Oaks roads on Sunday afternoon, three people sustained injuries.

Just before 1:30 pm, a blue-colored SUV and a red sedan met with an accident head-on according to the California Highway Patrol.

The cause of the accident is still unknown.

The California Highway Patrol stated that both the vehicles were majorly damaged.

The three people were extricated from the damaged vehicles and taken to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment of their injuries. One of the patients suffered critical injuries however the others had minor injuries.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the matter.
