3 Injured in Sylmar Accident on Polk Street near Woodcock Avenue

Slymar, California (December 31, 2019) – Three persons were hurt after a traffic collision late Sunday night in Sylmar, according to authorities.

The collision happened in the 14700 block of Polk Street near Woodcock Avenue a while after 11:00 p.m. Sunday, December 29.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a black pickup truck and a silver sedan crashed for unknown reasons.

Responding firefighters freed a male pickup driver pinned inside the wreckage.

Two persons occupying the sedan and the freed motorists were transported to an area hospital for treatment.

No other information regarding this collision was provided.

An investigation is ongoing.
