Man and Woman Killed in Danville Car Crash on Interstate Highway 680 near El Pintado Road.

Danville, California (June 9, 2020) – A man and a woman were killed in a wrong-way crash on Sunday morning in Danville, police said.

At about 3:45 p.m., on June 7, the California Highway Patrol responded to the deadly crash on Interstate Highway 680 near El Pintado Road.

A 2020 Ford Fusion, driven by Camille Vera Anne Kimball, 27, of Concord, was heading southbound in the northbound lanes of Interstate Highway 680 when it collided head-on with a 2012 Honda Civic, operated by a 46-year-old woman, according to the authorities.

The Honda driver, and her 26-year-old male passenger, both from Antioch, were declared dead at the scene.

Kimball was taken to John Muir hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries she sustained from the accident.

Kimball was arrested for felony DUI and Vehicular Manslaughter and will be booked into county jail after she is medically cleared.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing. Anyone with information about the crash is urged to contact Contra Costa CHP in Martinez at (925) 646-4980.

Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group, Mr. Arin Khodaverdian believes that car accident claims are rarely straightforward regardless of the circumstances involved. “Liable insurance companies will often do everything possible to limit their out-of-pocket expenses by either devaluing or outright denying your claim and it is crucial, therefore, to have an experienced attorney on your side,” He said.

Mr. Khodaverdian has worked for many years as a wrongful death and personal injury attorney. He and his team of attorneys has helped thousands of injury victims and their families recover over $100 million in compensation. “In one case, we recovered a 7-figure settlement within 11 business days of being hired by the family of a victim who was killed by a negligent driver.”

Swift action by an experienced attorney helps preserve evidence, interview witnesses, and begin to pursue those responsible for the incident.
