2 Killed in 2-Vehicle Accident at Alum Rock and Alexander Avenues in San Jose
Fatality in San Jose Commercial Van Collision at Alum Rock and Alexander Avenues
San Jose, California – Following a San Jose Commercial van accident that took place at Alum Rock and Alexander avenues, two people were killed on Sunday morning.
On September 27, at around 8:15 am, the accident happened.
The police reported that a white-colored 2007 work van was traveling westbound on Alum Rock Avenue at high speed when it ran a stop sign at the intersection and collided with a red 2002 Nissan Maxima heading south on Alexander Avenue.
The driver of the Nissan was declared dead at the scene, meanwhile, his female passenger died later in the local hospital.
The name of the victims will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner once they notify their families.
The van driver was arrested and booked into jail for reckless driving and vehicular manslaughter. However, he was not injured.
