2 Killed, 3 Hospitalized after 2-Vehicle Accident on Belinda Circle in Anaheim

Two Killed, Three Seriously Injured in Anaheim Car Accident at Belinda Circle and Lincoln Avenue

Anaheim, California (March 20, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Friday afternoon car accident that killed two people and left three others injured in Anaheim.

The deadly accident was reported at about 2:00 p.m., at the intersection of Belinda Circle and Lincoln Avenue.

A Honda Civic was traveling through the intersection when it was struck by a white Dodge Charger that was traveling eastbound on Lincoln Avenue. Police said the Dodge driver allegedly a red light at Belinda Circle, causing the accident.

The driver and a front-seat passenger in the Honda were declared dead at the scene while a passenger in the back seat was transported to UCI Medical Center with serious injuries.

The driver and a passenger in the Dodge, both 17-years-old boys, were taken to UCI Medical Center with moderate injuries for treatment.

The Dodge driver is expected to be arrested after being released from the hospital. The police suspected drugs and speed to be a factor in the crash.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
