Minor Injuries Reported in North Hollywood Crash on 170 Freeway at Burbank Boulevard
North Hollywood, California (March 18, 2020) – Two people sustained minor injuries in an accident involving two pool-service trucks on Wednesday morning in North Hollywood, as per a police report.
The crash was reported at around 7:00 a.m. March 18, on the southbound 170 Freeway at Burbank Boulevard.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and a 2019 Toyota Tacoma, from different cleaning companies, were involved in the crash for unknown reasons. The trucks spilled more than 8 gallons of chloride and muriatic acid on the roadway.
Two people sustained minor injuries, and they were treated at the scene.
Multiple lanes on the freeway were closed for several hours to clean up the spillage.
No other details of the crash were immediately released.
The crash remains under investigation.
