2 Hospitalized after Twentynine Palms Car Accident at Indian Trail and Lear Avenue

Twentynine Palms, California (December 12, 2019) – Two people were hospitalized Thursday morning after in a traffic accident involving two vehicles in Twentynine Palms, a local news source reported.

The crash happened at around 9:49 a.m. at Indian Trail and Lear Avenue.

According to the local news report, a blue Chevrolet Tahoe SUV and a Ford F-150 pickup truck  were involved in the crash.

One of the involved vehicles allegedly ran a red light and collided with the second vehicle at the intersection.

One person was airlifted to Desert Regional Medical Center with major injuries. The other person was taken to a local hospital with unspecified injuries.

Further details regarding the crash were not immediately available.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
