Two Injured in North Hollywood Car Crash on 170 Freeway at Burbank Boulevard

North Hollywood, California (March 19, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Wednesday morning crash involving two vehicles that left two people injured in North Hollywood.

The crash occurred on the southbound 170 Freeway at Burbank Boulevard, at about 7:00 a.m., on March 18.

A 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and a 2019 Toyota Tacoma, both from different cleaning companies, collided on the freeway for unknown reasons, according to the police. As a result of the crash, 8 gallons of chloride and muriatic acid spilled on the roadway.

Two parties involved in the crash suffered minor injuries.

Several lanes of the freeway were closed for an unspecified period as crews cleaned the scene.

More details about the crash were immediately not available.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
